Opera buffa
The acclaimed first opera by composer Raquel García-Tomás, National Music Award 2020 winner, arrives in Seville with the same production that premiered in Madrid on 2019. Stage direction by Marta Pazos and libretto by Helena Tornero, it seems like a more than propitious moment to talk about narcissism. That narcissism that overwhelms everything; the one that enlarges our perception of ourselves and pushes us to do everything in a big way, even if we have forgotten very well the reason why we do it.
